I apologize (but not really)
I apologize for screaming ‘stop’
When you kept calling me dumb
I apologize for pushing you against the door
When you hit me, again
I apologize for being sarcastic to you
When you were always sarcastic
I apologize for ignoring you
When you ignored me, once again, at the club
I apologize for saying I’m better off without you
When your blood has been mixed up with mine
I apologize for all the hurt I’ve caused
And all the tears I’ve cried
Wondering why you left or why you had stayed
Wondering why when you hurt me, I still craved
I apologize, for not being that what you want me to be
I apologize
But not really
